I would like to dedicate this page to all my fans and Leafs Haters everywhere.  Without the incompetence and sheer lack of intelligence throughout the years of Leafs players and management, we Leafs Bashers wouldn't have as much fun as we do now.  Below you will find various moronic trades, shady dealings and general stupidity by the Leafs organization.  Just rest your mouse pointer on a photo and the information about the Blunder will pop up!  Enjoy!

(1) Borje Salming, an All-Star defenceman at one time, was suspended for eight games, in 1986, for admitting to cocaine use. (2) Dave Keon, a former Leafs captain, has rejected various invitations to be honoured by the Leafs at MLG and the ACC. His animosity towards the Leafs organization began in 1975 when he left for the rival WHA. (3) Darryl Sittler was an honest and gifted player. Although, his famous 10 point effort in 1976 versus Boston was with their third string goalie, Dave Reece between the pipes. Reece never saw an NHL rink again after that night. Sittler would eventually remove the 'C' from his jersey to protest the way management treated the players. He was sent to the Flyers in 1982. (4) After so much hype leading up to his arrival, the only memorable moment in Toronto for #27 Miroslav Ihnacak was getting beaten up during this brawl by Detroit's Eddy Mio. He had 17 points in 55 games as a Leaf. So much for the hype.

(5) After being a part of four Stanley Cup winners in Montreal, the late Michel "Bunny" Larocque had more than a few headaches as a Leaf. (6) Perhaps one of the worst trades in hockey history. Russ Courtnall was dealt to Montreal for a goon, John Kordic. Courtnall was voted as Montreal's team MVP in 1991. Kordic? He had 10 goals in 104 games in Toronto. (7) Lanny McDonald had some great moments in a Leafs uniform but his memories with the Calgary Flames were even better. He scored 66 goals in 1983, was named as a co-captain in 1983, won a Stanley Cup in 1989 and had his #9 retired by the Flames a year later. (8) Leafs management eventually acquired Shayne Corson as a free agent after watching him pound Tie Domi. Corson has since quit on the Leafs during the playoffs.

(9) Slowly becoming one of the most hated players in the NHL; Darcy Tucker lays on the ice in a daze after receiving a stiff hit. (10) Mike Johnson wasn't the only Leaf to feel pain this night. In the final game at Maple Leaf Gardens, Chicago spanked the Leafs 6-2. (11) Al "The Wild Thing" Iafrate lived up to his nickname only days after being selected by the Leafs (4th overall in 1984). He and some of his friends were caught breaking street lights in the Windsor, Ont. area.
